In The News

Have you ever been interviewed by a reporter? I’ve decided that it’s kind of like bearing your testimony.* You know how you have all these thoughts and feelings inside that you’re nervous to share, but feel like you should? And then when you do, the second you’re done, an entire encyclopedia of eloquent sentences just fills your mind, and you wonder, “Why didn’t I think to say that before?”. And you’re left wondering and worrying about what you did say, and whether or not it came across the way you meant it to. But still, overall, you’re glad you got up there and said something. Well, I was interviewed by a reporter for the Daily Herald yesterday, and that’s kind of how I felt. Here’s the article if you’re interested.

*In our church we have a meeting once a month where anyone can share their feelings about our religion with other members of the congregation.*

You're FAMOUS! That's great, Becca. I'll bet it's difficult to be interviewed, but you did a great job!

Olivia, that's so funny you said that because today Annie called me famous while I was painting her toenails and I asked her if she knew what that word meant. She said "You're good at painting nails." So I guess if we're going off of Annie's definition, sure, I'll be sort of famous. Otherwise, I'm not even close! ;)

Becca – that's awesome. You did a great job! I'm glad you pointed it out that it's good that Dr. Judd has that sign posted. I've known several people that have seen him a couple of times and found out that he doesn't believe in their kind of healthcare and had to start the doctor search from scratch. His patients will have a better experience if they know up front what he's all about and can leave if they're not interested.

Becca I can't believe I'm just hearing about this! How neat! Did they call you? And yeah, I have to agree, I had gotten a good recommendation for Dr Judd from several people but when I went to my apt and saw that sign I instantly knew he was not the dr for me!!! So i appreciated it. It would be nice if all doctors were that upfront about it so you don't waste your time with them. It would also be nice if more women would educate themselves on their options so they could make better choices! You know that already though! :)
